My name is Elyse.
I'm a nonbinary (pronouns are They/Them), disabled fantasy and fiction writer and dabbler in art. I love writing stories on mythical creatures and using mythology themes.

My passion for writing and art stems from childhood as it was used at the time as a form of escapism. Video games have also been a fun hobby for me. Personal video game favorites - Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Dragon Quest, and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Video games also have served as inspiration for my works. So have fairy tale classics. Dragons, dungeons, mythical beings, mythos. You name it and my nerdy butt will be there at full attention.
And speaking of this, you're probably wondering about the art next to the 'About Me' message.
This pfp is a character from The Legend of Huisong and side stories that I'm working on. Their name is Asami. They are a nonbinary, asexual, Kayosei Kitsune. They are also one of the rare few characters who works under a Deity. They are a Shinigami, a Guardian of Death, who reaps and guides Souls to The Afterlife.

It's funny how this character went from being a pfp for social media and here to becoming a main character.
