The Demon Lords and Demons
Demon Lords and Demons have been around since the original Twin Goddesses, Aletha, and Nephele came into existence. No one, not even other Gods and Goddesses, know of how they came to the Kaeyama and the other neighbouring planets. Some scholars have assumed they are alien-like beings who came to conquer the Mortal Planes. But this may not be true as records have shown Demon Lords and Demons coming out of the ground through a black inky mass. This has been debated among scholars for centuries.
Demon Lords are the highest rank while the Demon Princes hold second in command and the rest of the Demons ranking varies based on powers and abilities. Demons below Lords and Princes have to obey the Lords and Princes.
When a Demon Lord is killed, a Demon Prince is supposed to take their place and become the new Lord. But there are rare cases such as with Demon Lord Azunnoth, who corrupted the original Twin Goddesses in an attempt to overthrow the Gods and be worshipped in their place, and his children who were killed during the War between the Demons and the Old Gods and Goddesses. The Demons who served under Lord Azunnoth were either killed or joined other Demon Lords.
While the existence of the Demon Lords and Demons have been debated since they have made themselves known, their reproduction isn’t debated, however, as there are records of it. They reproduce through giving birth, laying eggs, and tainting a mortal’s blood with theirs.
