Fated to Meet You is a tale about Nora, a young woman, who finds herself flung into the past, and away from her mundane life. Upon arriving in the past she finds herself in an unfamiliar room, with a mourning King and Queen, and their dead daughter, Princess Eleanor. As, according to the King, she looks exactly like their daughter and asks Nora to take her place as to not arouse suspicion with the public as to what happened to their real daughter. When Nora decides to take the role of princess, she's thrown into an arranged marriage with a soon-to-be-King of a neighboring kingdom, and discovering hidden secrets along with love along the way.

This story is a slow burn at first. It builds you up to the world that it is in and it reminds me of Kate & Leopold (one of the rare U.S. romance/comedy films that I enjoy) but done better, in my opinion. The story has a combination of first-person and third-person narrative; usually, this isn't my cup of tea, but with this tale it was enjoyable. The characters were believable and the tale filled with twists, turns, and danger. It was slightly cheesy in some parts, but that's what added charm to it. If you're interested in time travel, curses, romance, fairy tales, and kingdoms I recommend this story.
