The Guilds of the Kaeyama
There are 6 Guilds that run across the Kaeyama’s countries. Some are exclusive to one place. This blog post will go into details of each one, except for the Healers’ Guild. I'll briefly talk about that guild here, but go into further details on it, the Healers’ Association, and the Ophine Sanctuaries in its own personal blog as there is a lot of cover and I don’t want to bore everyone with an extremely long blog post.
The Thieves’ Guild - This Guild is known for their thefts against the wealthy. While the name implies they do steal, they actually give the spoils to the downtrodden, and assist those who are down on their luck. The East of Bolyra’s Thieves’ Guild that is located in Stoneguard is one of the more spoken about Guild compared to the North and South of Bolyra and the other countries, which are allies of them.
The Healers’ Guild - The Healers’ Guild is an organization that specializes in medicine. This guild functions as a college and a place of healing where it is located. It also keeps tabs on the Healing Houses and Ophine Sanctuaries in the towns to assist the Healers’ Association.
The Assassins’ Guild - This secretive organization is shrouded in mystery, yet everyone knows about them due to the Homo Velx, a special group of assassins that hails from Huisong. For those who aren’t working in the West nor want to invoke using the Homo Velx, they’ll use a special ritual, called the Rite of Omens to summon a Guild member for whatever the ritual user wants them for.
The Merchants’ Guild - This Guild trains people who want to sell wares and they are meant to keep those who work under them honest with their prices. They are one of the largest organizations on the Kaeyama.
The Nightshields’ Guild - Originally, this was a small organization that hailed in Namaru. This group was a small selection of the Pharoh’s men and townspeople who took up arms against the warring Twin Goddesses, Aletha, and Nephele, armies of that era. After the war, those who survived the onslaught decided to create an organization that works in the shadows in protecting others across the Kaeyama. These warriors decided to call this organization the Nightshields’ Guild.
The Blacktalons’ Guild - The Blacktalons’ Guild of Iecruinia which is a Dragonborn and Dragon Shifter exclusive Guild centered around protecting the people of Iecruinia and dragon folk who live in other countries.
