The Legend of Bolyra has quite a few different races in the story. Most mentioned in passing by the MCs, or someone they're talking to, or they're seen in the background. As I've continued to work on this story; the race list has gone from 9 races to the list that's written below.
Speaking about this tale; while I cannot cover all the races in one book nor explore all the continents and the Planet Kaeyama. I've decided to break things up into a standalone series. It'll be set in the same world, but with different characters and no connection to the book that I'm talking about now with a few exceptions here and there.
Known Races non-elven races:
Humans - Thornton Sr and Thornton Jr, Prince Ramos, and his father, King Tobias are the only known humans with speaking roles/seen. Every other human is background at this time.
Crystal Golems - They hail from the Crimson Precipice. Drom is their leader. These creatures vary in size and abilities. They're famously known for their crystal caves.
Lunar Oceanids - A Jellyfish Mermaid Race that can transition between land and water.
Antyla - A Rabbit race that hails from Helina. They vary among the species. The two most common types are known as Lopantyla and Jinshuantyla.
Aureus - They're Bipedal Phoenix race. One named Solaris lives in Bolyra and works at a cafe as a cook/owner.
Zeniron - They're a Light Elemental race that Dinir, the God of Light, created. Nura is a unique character as she's part Zeniron and part Snow Elf.
Elemental Kitsune - These immortal beings hail from Huisong. They're elemental users and are one of the few who can use Tessen to amplify their powers in combat. Known Elemental Kitsunes are Kimiko, Kimiko's late husband, Yuichi, and Kimiko's twin adult children, Kenshin and Misaki. Kimiko is a wind user and it is rumored that Yuichi was a fire/lightning user.
Sitkas - Sitkas are Bipedal Deers and one of the rare few that can use Nature magic. Subrace: Sitka/Sevenia - Sitka/Sevenia hybrids have deer-like features as the Sitka, but look more like Sevenia. Eideard is the only known Sitka/Sevenia at this time. He has both Nature and Fae magical abilities.
Sevenia - Sevenia are Bipedal butterfly people. This race comes in a different ray of color just like real life butterflies.
Tigris - A humanoid Bipedal tiger race. Dro’jirr and his mate, Kisa are the only known Tigris at this time.
Arruphin - A humanoid Saltwater Turtle race. They live in Nala Tirion.
Khiander - A humanoid bee race. They live anywhere that flowers, flora, and vegetation grows.
Kitrons - Yellow with brown spots, armored four-legged beings with mace-like tails. They once were dark green, bipedal beings like their leader, Thrixl. They hail from a faraway country and have a standing feud with the Tigris.
Artianac - A combination of an eagle and a lion. This race is shrouded in mystery like the Homo Velx as to where they hail from originally and how they came to be.
Lirniidae - An eagle-like race
Shutiarine - A humanoid freshwater turtle species
Naga - Snake people
Homo Velx - Another race that is shrouded in mystery as to how they came into existence. While they look human, they aren't.
Gninneagale - A gray wolf humanoid species. The Gauroku, is a black-furred bipedal wolf man and subspecies of the Gninneagal.
Druid - These are humanoid trees who are close to nature and have a deep connection with the earth.
Odines - A humanoid cat species who is seeped in ancient history that resembles Egypt in a town called Shepi. They're known for their worship of old gods and have deep respect for other cultures and their deities.

Snow Elves - Known Snow Elves, Aerilaya, her mother, Queen Merialeth, her father, King Biryor, and her brother, Prince Fayaris
Forest Elves - Known Forest Elves, King Ornthalas Torven, his late wife, Queen Fylvief, and his late daughter, Princess Narilna
Shadow Elves - Known Shadow Elves, Alosrin, his father, King Tholns, and his mother, Queen Alurara

Vernmer - Except Galan. He's the exception to The Legend of Bolyra
Moon Elves - Except for Droinyon and Ilythyrra, who are Aerilaya's Great Grandparents
