“What happened to you? Your body is a complete mess.” - Nura to Aerilaya while assessing what was wrong with her.
Nura is a 10-year-old Zeniron/Snow Elf hybrid. This character is first introduced in Chapter 11 - Journey to Taedmorden. She's mentioned by a Fae named Greyshadow.
“Have another one for ya. This one is going to need a lot of attention as she committed the crime of killing her owner. Please ensure the reprogramming takes this time around. I don’t want to have to deal with another defiant bitch like that Zeniron/Snow Elf.” Greyshadow announced as he chained her hands with her back facing him to an empty space and pulled out a switchblade from the side pocket of his black pants.
Zenirons are Light Elemental beings, which were created by the Light God, Dinir as a way to assist Healers in finding hidden issues they may not be able to detect themselves. This race is supposed to breed with humans or other Zenirons as a law Dinir created and that no one knows how another human-like race's genes would affect the child. Everyone obeyed this rule until one decided to tempt fate and ended up paying the price for his greed.
Nura is a unique character, like Kailu, where she has powers and abilities most would not have access to. While she could be easily seen as a Mary Sue/OP character due to having Light Magic, Frost Magic, and Moon Magic. While she may have these powers, she doesn't have control over them; the only one that comes to her naturally (and this by default with all races/characters) is Light Magic.
This character is also blind due to a side effect of being poisoned with Sanguine Grudge, a fictional poison that is a combination of different poisons with varying effects on a person. Unfortunately for her, the effect was losing her eyesight, which she had managed to deal with surprisingly well despite some issues here and there.
This is one character I've been interested in seeing in terms of character growth and how she'll come into her own as the story progresses.
