"Good Evening, Lady Kimiko and Lord Yuichi. Beautiful night, isn't it?" Miyako said with a bow and smile. "Good Evening, Lady Miyako. Yes, it is. Heading to the Astral Tree? I've heard there is going to be a gorgeous display of shooting stars to signal the Festival of the Gods. I've heard Lady Kodea, Goddess of the Night and Day has been looking forward to this day along with her brother, Atia, the God of Summer." Yuichi replied with a warm smile and a returned bow along with his wife.
The three were wearing their traditional Yukatas that represented their houses as they headed towards a tree that stood on a lone hill. They settled next to the tree where the leaves glowed faintly white as the night sky came alive as stars slowly shot across. A brilliant stream of purples and blues danced across as Kimiko and Yuichi enjoyed the show. Miyako on the other hand, had a sad smile on her face as tears fell. Today was the day she had lost her wife to an illness that had been plaguing her for a year now. "I hope the stars guide you, Haimaki." She whispered before gazing down at a package of Chuziotuce Cake.
